Jaguar National Rally WA 2020

Jaguar XK 140

National Rally Guided Scenic Run to Busselton via Harvey

Monday 30 March, beginning of the Rally Phase two!

Those of us who have elected to take part in the guided tour via Harvey will depart Joondalup Resort at 10.30, after a final coffee to sustain us for the trip.

We will travel down the Mitchell and Kwinana freeway to Ravenswood and then via Pinjarra and Waroona ,a distance of 165 km or about 2 hours drive ,where we will partake of a light lunch at AUSTINS HARVEY at 26 Harper Street.

Austins Harvey is an historic property set within the grounds of the beautiful Devonia Homestead which was established 1912. The land was originally owned by Alf and Caroline Snell who owned citrus orchards and a horse staging post. It is believed that Alf Snell planted a tiny Morton Bay Fig plant in the middle of his orchard, which is now grown into a humongous tree adjacent to the homestead. No one in the early 1900s would have believed just how big this tree would grow!!

The property is now run as a B&B and Function Centre and the hosts enjoy having car clubs visit from time to time, ample parking is available. We will also photograph our Jaguars here on the lawn after lunch.

Local members wishing to leave from other points can meet us there at around 12 noon, but do need to register and pre order please.

Those registering for this events will be asked to nominate their choice of menu to facilitate a timely and relaxed service. The hosts Robyn and Steve Coleman are very friendly and will make us all very welcome.

As we will be having a BBQ dinner on Monday night we have anticipated that people would prefer a light lunch so the menu has be requested accordingly;
