A Free Day in the Margaret River Region - Suggested Things to Do

Tuesday 31st March

After a pretty hectic four days of organised Rally activities it may be nice to have an opportunity to do your own thing for a day.

A copy of the map “Your Margaret River Region” (MRR) is included in your Rally Pack. This map is a great guide to the fantastic range of options available in the area which are all reasonably close by.

The following suggestions are places to visit or things to do. Please use the Margaret River Region map grid reference notations provided to easily find the place you would like to visit.

These suggested destinations will not be visited during the organised runs on either Wednesday – Hinterland Escorted Tour or on Thursday – Caves to Cape Drive.

Drive to Dunsborough, visit Meelup Beach and Eagle Bay then stop for coffee or lunch at the Bunker Bay Beach House.

Head west on the Bussell Highway to Dunsborough and have a look at this nice beachside holiday town nestled on the shore of Geographe Bay in the shelter of Cape Naturaliste. Refer Margaret River Region Map (MRR) C3.
